Hawk Walks
Interested in wildlife or looking for that perfect gift or corporate event? Hawkwalk gives you the chance to handle and fly our magnificent birds of prey: Falcons, Buzzards, Hawks and Owls, in their natural environment.
Individuals, groups and schools have the opportunity to watch or practice in the ancient art of flying birds of Prey with the famous falconer Andy.
The Hawkwalk starts at the castle where you are given a briefing about the hawkwalk. We then take a 3 minute drive to our private woodland. Here we fly a large falcon to the lure and I will explain about raptors and how to identify them in the wild.
You are then given a falconry glove and start walking through the woods. During this time you will see our trained Harris Hawks flown in and out of trees and you get to call the bird to your fist.
For as little as £35 per person, you can experience a 2 hour walk with our birds, around the beautiful Somerset countryside, concluding with a cream tea at Banwell Castle.
